First Facebook, then Twitter, now MySpace (haha… just kidding) Rolling Stone. The promotional tour continues as Kanye stopped by Rolling Stone to played about 12 songs from his upcoming album off his laptop.
West says the vibe of his new record is positivity, acknowledging that he’s made mistakes in his life. Adding that he believes great art doesn’t have to come from dark places, he said, “I feel like [now] I can be a vessel for good will and energy.”He played the full version of My Chain Heavy, which was anchored by an old-school beat with a spacey whistle hook. Other songs featured some of Kanye’s most adventurous and experimental music yet: heavy beats, cellos, sparse piano lines, fuzzed-out electric guitar solos, and spooky sci-fi melodies.

Drake announced via his twitter account that his debut album Thank Me Later went Platinum. That means he sold over 1 million records. Congrats to Drake.
DMX Hands Himself In and Heads Back To Jail!
DMX is back in jail tonight after handing himself in for a felony he committed back in 2002.
He released this short video to his fans explaining the situation.
DMX is set to spend another 90 days in an LA jail relating to a probabtion violation for a reckless driving incident that occurred in 2002.
X seems like a changed man and turning himself in was his idea. Hopefully once this one is out the way he can come back. Keep your head up X!

Drake Speaks On Carter IV Verses!! Weezy Call Him From Jail!!
While on set for his Fancy video, Drake reveals to MTV that Lil Wayne spit two verses off Tha Carter IV that blew his mind and made him question his career.
“He called me the other day from jail and rapped me two verses, man,” Drake said. “It really made me, like, ‘I gotta do something different. I gotta get sh– together,’ because he’s really got bars and he’s rapping from a broader life perspective, saying these things people love to hear.”
Stuff like this you gotta take with a grain of salt though. I’m sure the verses were great but there’s obviously a possibility of Drake making things seem doper than they are. Remember when Royce was saying Em’s Relapse was phenomenal? Just saying…
