I didn’t get a chance to work with Dre on this record. He’s been M.I.A. for two to three months now. But I don’t feel bad, because Snoop can’t find him either. I think, really, it’s because people expect so much from him. People expect, when Dre does a record, it [will] change the trajectory of music. Not just be an album and it come out and be good. It has to come and take us in a different direction. And that’s a lot of pressure.

Le Scoop : Confirmed, Eminem to Perform at 2010 MTV Video Music Awards

Good Notice!!!


The organizers of MTV Video Music Awards have locked  to perform at the September 12 ceremony. The current Billboard Hot 200 chart topper is to join a number of music acts which have been announced earlier to take the stage at Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheater.

With Eminem on the list, MTV VMAs officially becomes one of the most anticipated events of this year.  who crashed the stage while was making a speech last year, is invited back to perform and rumor has it, host would reunite them at some point.

Beside Eminem and West, there are also teen heartthrob ,,  and .  will become the in-house DJ. Meanwhile, on-hand to present are , ,, , , , and .

Eminem is the second most nominated artist at the awards event this year behind . He scores eight nominations including Video of the Year for "Not Afraid". Upon the announcement of the nominations, the rapper said, "Apparently, MTV doesn't care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMAs. F me, right?!?! I mean, I'll be there, but don't expect me to be nice about it."

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV to Drop the Day He’s Released From Prison (Video)





According to Mack Maine, the plan is to release Tha Carter IV out the same day Weezy is released from prison on November 5th. This will come after his 10-song I Am Not a Human Being EP; which hits shelves on September 27th (his birthday).
Tha Carter IV plans we had and still have are to put Tha Carter IVout the day he comes out [of prison]. He had so many songs forTha Carter IV, we said let’s just put these 10 songs out [on I Am Not a Human Being] and double-back for Tha Carter IV. He has more songs for Tha Carter IV that are still strong.


 then goes on to speak about the song selection process (after the jump).
It’s basically me, him, Baby and Cortez Bryant mapping it out. We had a listening session out here. It was me, Baby and Cortez. I let [Wayne] know these are the ones we picked. He already picked six of them from back there. I let him hear it over the phone. I book him a studio session — kinda like I did for the Light Up up remix with Drake. I book him a studio session and let him listen [to tracks] over the phone. ‘Do you like this one?’ ‘Yeah?’
While highly doubtful, Maine also mentions that Young Money might not even release a single. Just drop the album the day Wayne gets out and that’s that. We’ll see.
