It has to come and take us in a different direction. And that’s a lot of pressure.

Le Scoop : Confirmed, Eminem to Perform at 2010 MTV Video Music Awards

The organizers of MTV
Video Music Awards have locked Eminem to perform at the September 12 ceremony. The current Billboard Hot 200 chart topper is to join a number of music acts which have been announced earlier to take the stage at Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheater.
WithEminem on the list, MTV VMAs officially becomes one of the most anticipated events of this year. Kanye West who crashed the stage whileTaylor Swift was making a speech last year, is invited back to perform and rumor has it, host Chelsea Handlerwould reunite them at some point.
Beside Eminem and West, there are also teen heartthrob Justin Bieber,Drake, B.o.B and Florence and the Machine. Deadmau5 will become the in-house DJ. Meanwhile, on-hand to present are Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj,Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Trey Songz, Ashley Greene, Selena Gomezand Ne-Yo.

Upon the announcement of the nominations, the rapper said, "Apparently, MTV doesn't care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMAs. F me, right?!?! I mean, I'll be there, but don't expect me to be nice about it."

According to Mack Maine, the plan is to release Tha Carter IV out the same day Weezy is released from prison on November 5th. This will come after his 10-song I Am Not a Human Being EP; which hits shelves on September 27th (his birthday).
Tha Carter IV plans we had and still have are to put Tha Carter IVout the day he comes out [of prison]. He had so many songs forTha Carter IV, we said let’s just put these 10 songs out [on I Am Not a Human Being] and double-back for Tha Carter IV. He has more songs for Tha Carter IV that are still strong.

While highly doubtful, Maine also mentions that Young Money might not even release a single. Just drop the album the day Wayne gets out and that’s that. We’ll see.
