Kanye West & Jay-Z’s Watch The Throne Now a Full LP (Video)
Apparently now, Watch The Throne, originally slated to be an EP, will be a full-length project between Kanye and Jay-Z.
“We putting out a whole album now,” he told MTV News‘ Sway Calloway. “We had done five [songs] so far, but then a few of them kind of were out there, and I put them on my album. Sorry, Jay. But we got some more, and we’re going to the South of France at the end of the month to just record new ideas. But we’ll probably be done with the album in a day.”
I’m wondering if they’re still going to go with Q-Tip, Pete Rock and Madlib on the project as well. Knowing the nature of the beast, they probably won’t though; remember how DJ Premier was supposed to be on The Black Album? Exactly.

I been rapping a lot lately. Me and 40 have been doing some great rap music, so I sort of took a hiatus on the R&B for a second. It’s cool to do R&B, I love it, but it’s just hard for me to always commit to it. Because some nights, I get in there and 40’s beats, as melodic or R&B-driven as they may be, just have that right pocket that I just wanna spit.I did this song the other night; I’ve now completed the second song for my album. So I only had one song before for the new album; two nights ago, I did the second song. I’m loving it. I’m loving the sound. I’m excited again.
He also said he plans to put out two more songs from the mixtape next month before releasing the complete project.

Nicki MInaj On MTV News Hottest MCs List News
According to Nicki Minaj, it’s a foregone conclusion that she’ll be the first female rapper to make MTV News’
“Of course I’m on the list,” she told MTV News. “If I’m not on the list, let me tell you something: Them Barbiez will find your asses. So we know Nicki Minaj is on the list, but we don’t know here she ranks.”
Nicki Minaj has been a major presence at awards shows and television specials throughout the past 12 months, from the BET Hip Hop Awards to MTV’s VMA pre-show.
Where she’s really made her mark has been as a guest artist on records by Mariah Carey, Robin Thicke, Trey Songz and Ludacris, among others. The animated lyricist has proved particularly adept at rhyming alongside her male counterparts, including Jay-Z, Kanye West and Drake.
“I believe I’m a dope MC in the big scheme of things, period,” she said. “Like, if you put 10 girls in a row, I’m not only gonna stand out with them, but I’m gonna stand out if you put nine boys in a row and put me in the middle. I believe there’s a lot of girls like that. I believe most female MCs are better than the boys. But they don’t really get a shot sometimes. Labels are afraid to sign females and things like that. Don’t get me wrong, the boys are super dope. But the girls are up there too and are important and equal in the way we deliver raps.”

Jay-Z’s Decoded Book Unveiling in Miami (Video)
Jay-Z reveals "Decoded" book at Miami's Delano Hotel (10/20/2010) from The305.com on Vimeo.
Dro was on hand during Hov’s book (which is released on November 16th) unveiling that went down in Miami last night.
I was at hand running around getting video of Jay-Z last night unveiling one of the pages of his upcoming Decoded book, where he did so. The page was the lyrics of “Big Pimpin” placed inside the pool of The Delano Hotel where he celebrated the release with a few of his friends. Beyonce was in the building. DJ Irie was the DJ for the evening and did a drop for us as well. Also at the event, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, the homie Bebe from Circle House, Seth Browarnik of World Red Eye, Brandon Marshall from the Dolphins, and few other folks I can’t remember right now.
